Twin Rocks Friends Camp and Conference Center is located on the beautiful Oregon coast, just a block from the beach. The camp is situated on 120 wooded acres, with mountain trails, a lakefront, and modern accommodations for more than 300 persons. Each year more than 13,000 individuals utilize Twin Rocks Friends Camp for such purposes as youth retreats, summer camps, outdoor schools, Elderhostels, men’s / women’s church retreats and family camps. The camp enjoys an extremely loyal clientele, with guest groups returning year after year to enjoy retreats at Twin Rocks.

Excellent Facilities: While Twin Rocks has existed since 1918, most of its meeting rooms and sleeping accommodations have been constructed or completely remodeled within the past 15 years.

Meeting Rooms:  Twin Rocks has a number of carpeted meeting rooms of various sizes, the largest of which are equipped with public address systems and pianos. The Meetinghouse has padded chairs and seating for 325 and the Shelter (our newly remodeled gymnasium), seats 600. Two other rooms accommodate up to 100, and several more seat around 50.

Sleeping Accommodations: Sleeping accommodations are available in 20 separate cabins, one large dormitory, and a motel-style lodge. All of these facilities are fully winterized and carpeted, and all but three are equipped with restrooms. Most of the units have been strategically designed for multiple use -- meeting the unique needs of both youth, families, and adults.

Recreation:  The recreational highlight for most groups coming to Twin Rocks is the delightful seven-mile stretch of Pacific beach just one block from the camp. The camp derives its name from the majestic “twin rocks” just off-shore. Other options include disc "Frisbee" golf; miniature golf; a fresh-water lake for swimming, boating and fishing; hiking trails; a recreation field; horseshoes; and a playground for small children. In addition, our newly renovated gymnasium provides a fully winterized building in which to play basketball, volleyball, ping pong, foosball, billiards, air hockey, and shuffleboard.

Food Service:  The camp’s food service staff receives great reviews from guest groups, especially for its homemade breads and other baked goods. Special assistance is available for some individuals with specific dietary needs, including diabetics and vegetarians.

Reasonable Rates:  At our Main Camp, we have two different rate levels. Standard level applies to the housing areas of Hadley Hall, Cabins of the Trees and Cabins of the Meadow. Deluxe level applies to Pacific Woods Lodge, which includes amenities such as motel-style housing and linens. The 2008 Standard per-person price for a typical weekend retreat (two nights and five meals) is $110. The Deluxe per-person price for a two night, five meal retreat in Pacific Woods Lodge is $156.

Discounts:  We also offer the following discounts: Children from 0-2 years old are not charged. Children from 3- 8 years old receive a 50% discount. From November 1st through February 28th, guests receive a 5% winter discount. Youth groups receive a 15% discount, and Outdoor Schools receive a 30% discount.

Quaker Heritage:  Twin Rocks is owned by the evangelical Friends Church, and was founded in 1918. Approximately 25 percent of the camp’s use each year is by the Friends Church, with the remaining 75 percent made up of groups from other Christian denominations and a wide range of not-for-profit organizations.

Harbor Villa Retreat Center:  Twin Rocks Friends Camp also owns Harbor Villa Retreat Center, located on the beach a mile north of the main camp. Harbor Villa is an ideal location for retreat groups of 10 to 40 people who prefer to cook for themselves.
