Girls Camp
For girls entering 4th-6th grades in fall 2013
Dates: June 30 - July 5, 2013
(3:30pm Sunday through 7:00pm Friday)
Girls Camp provides opportunities for campers to spend time learning and laughing in a safe and fun environment. Activities such as arts and crafts, fishing on the lake, silly skits and songs, an overnight campout and a wide variety of recreation games make for an exciting week! Girls Camp staff teach concrete truths about God's love that campers are able to connect with their everyday lives. Cabin counselors lead discussions and activities that help campers respond to all they are learning and experiencing.
Girls Campers build friendships by sharing a cabin together, eating together, and learning alongside one another. Cabin counselors provide guidance, support, and encouragement along the way. Girls Campers build confidence by participating in experiences that are different from home or school. Boating in the lake, performing skits, and taking a ride on the Extreme Swing help campers make memories that shape their identity in positive ways. Girls Campers grow spiritually through engaging speakers, helpful discussions, and counselors who model what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ. Campers will leave camp with a deeper understanding of basic biblical truths about God's love and plan for their lives.
Join us this summer for an incredible time of laughter, fellowship, and growth at Girls Camp 2013!
Family Day: Girls Camp ends at 7:00pm on Friday. Parents, siblings and grandparents of campers are invited to arrive Friday at 3:00pm to spend the final hours of Girls Camp at Twin Rocks with your camper. Look for Family Day details with your confirmation letter.
Quotes from Parents
"She loved the camp out! She also adored her counselors who genuinely enjoyed being with the girls. They got silly with them and were playful, but also took time to share God's love to her on her level."
"I think the lessons she hears at camp, the behavior she sees modeled in those representing a Christian life, and the friendships she makes, last a lifetime and strongly lay a foundation for decisions she makes in the future.""It was our first experience with Twin Rocks. A friend invited our daughter to join her. I had no previous information and was very impressed with how the camp was run and how friendly and welcoming everyone was to us and our daughter."
