Dates: February 17-20, 2017
Arrival Time: 6:30pm
This year’s theme is “Building the
community piece by piece” and our
theme verse is Romans 12:14-18:
“Bless those who hurt you. Bless them,
and do not curse them. Be joyful with
those who are joyful. Be sad with those
who are sad. Agree with one another.
Don’t be proud. Be willing to be a
friend of people who aren’t considered
important. Don’t think that you are
better than others.
Don’t pay back evil with evil. Be careful
to do what everyone thinks is right. If
possible, live in peace with everyone.
Do that as much as you can.”
What are you doing on President’s Day weekend this February? Junior High Jamboree at Twin Rocks is the place to be! Junior High Jamboree is an annual retreat just for middle schoolers packed with games, classes, and activities that keep you in mind! This year’s theme, Color Outside the Lines, will explore how our culture is encouraging us to live and how this fits in to how God is calling us to live our lives. Our speaker, Jamie Johnson, will be challenging us to think of ways our everyday ordinary lives can help us grow closer to Christ!
Join us for an extended weekend filled with creative recreation games, thoughtful teaching, crazy costumes, great times with cabinmates and counselors, and so much more! Come to make new friends, learn about God, eat delicious food, play crazy, off-the-wall games, and to just get away from the fast pace of school for awhile.
At Junior High Jamboree, you’re pretty much guaranteed that at some point you will keel over onto the floor from laughing too hard. And you’ll also get to talk about things in life that are important to you with cabin counselors that really listen and care. Do something different with your weekend and make your way to Twin Rocks Friends Camp for Junior High Jamboree on the Oregon Coast!
