Outdoor School for Homeschoolers
For families with students entering Kindergarten thru 12th grades in fall 2012
Dates: September 17-21, 2012
Are you ready to spend a week exploring creation with your family and friends on the Oregon Coast? Outdoor School at Twin Rocks Friends Camp offers opportunities to venture into nature as younever have before. Standards-based lessons with topics including shark dissections, mammal studies, survival skills, and local history will capture the curiosity of students and adults alike.
Outdoor School at Twin Rocks is an experience you won't want to miss and you'll remember it for the rest of your life. So invite friends and family to join us at Twin Rocks for a fantastic week of learning, fun, and adventure! Even with such a strong academic focus we'll find time to build community, learn about God, and play. Throughout the week you'll have opportunities to go boating and hiking, mini-golfing, practice archery, sing silly songs and perform skits, make new friends, play on the beach, and worship together.

This Outdoor School for Homeschoolers is offered by Twin Rocks in cooperation with First Class Homeschool Ministries, whose founders, Heidi and Jay St. John (pictured at left), will serve as speakers at evening worship sessions. Heidi has also written several books, including The Busy Homeschool Mom's Guide to Romance and The Busy Homeschool Mom's Guide to Daylight. Participating as a family is affordable, and it will strengthen both your relationships and teaching at home. Prior to attending, adults will need to pass a background check.
Housing & Meals:
Your registration includes excellent food and housing provided by Twin Rocks Friends Camp. If you register an entire family then we'll put your family in your own cabin, unless you request otherwise. - If you are registering a child younger than 9 years old, a parent needs to attend Outdoor School with the child.
