Being a part of Summer Staff means working hard. Summer Staff rotate regularly between various work assignments, such as washing dishes, preparing meals, working grounds, and cleaning cabins. Some staff participate by working in specialized areas like lifeguarding, archery instruction, or in the camp store. Whatever the task, Summer Staff members work together toward the common goal of developing a servant’s heart.
Twin Rocks Friends Camp’s Servant Leadership Program (SLP) is a five-week summer program for a select group of high school students, chosen for their strong commitment to serving Christ through serving others. It is an incredible opportunity to learn more about leadership, ministry, and service within a fun and Christ-centered community.
Kids Camp serves children entering grades 4-6 this fall. It's a place where laughter and learning go hand in hand in a safe and fun setting. From arts and crafts to lake fishing, silly skits, songs, and a wide range of recreational games, every day is filled with excitement. Kids Camp staff teach concrete truths about God’s love that campers are able to connect with their everyday lives. Cabin counselors guide discussions and activities, empowering campers to apply what they learn and experience during this wonderfully enriching week.
Twin Rocks Friends Camp’s newest program is proving to be a huge hit with families of all shapes and sizes. It’s a chance to get outside, take in the beauty of nature, have fun with family, and de-stress. Enjoy 4th of July fireworks! Paddle across a lake. Build sandcastles at the beach. Play ping-pong. Hold a live sand dollar. Take a walk in the woods. Ride a zip line. Roast marshmallows. Eat ice cream. Breathe deep. Read a Scripture passage and thank God for the blessings of family. All of this and much more await your family at Twin Rocks this summer. Tween Camp for youth entering 7th-9th grades this fall. Tween Camp is all about awesome activities, building friendships, and opportunities to grow. It’s a week full of activities like skimboarding and wave jumping, sand volleyball and Frisbee golf. Recreation games range from those that focus on teamwork to the ones that are wild and crazy! Tween Camp is a place where you can be yourself and get to know others in a setting that is welcoming and fun. There are also opportunities to grow spiritually through cabin group discussions, classes with relevant topics, and times of worship together. We are excited!
Day Camp at Twin Rocks Friends Camp provides opportunities for children (Grades 1-6 next fall) to experience the beauty of God’s creation as they play and learn in the great outdoors. High quality staff and counselors lead groups of campers through a variety of activities which include everything from rafting on the lake and hiking on the trails to playing miniature golf, shooting arrows on the archery range, singing silly songs, and enjoying engaging stories. It’s non-stop fun, adventure, and smiles.
Surfside Camp for youth completing 8th-12th grades this spring. Surfside offers high school youth the space to grow personally and spiritually as a part of a community in a playful, worshipful, and intentional atmosphere. Surfside’s caring staff and counselors come prepared to laugh with and listen to campers who come to be a part of the Surfside experience. Wildly creative recreation games, thought-provoking and engaging speakers, and plenty of time to be at the beach or relaxing with friends, all come together to create a unique camp experience. We are excited!
Family Camp offers a terrific, end-of-summer opportunity for families to build memories over Labor Day weekend. Enjoy time together with miniature golf, craft projects, swimming and boating on Spring Lake, hiking trails, Frisbee golf, and volleyball — or head to the beach for relaxation in the sun. And grow together through meaningful teaching times targeted uniquely for each age group, including engaging talks with our camp speakers.
The Internship Program at Twin Rocks Friends Camp is designed to equip young adults with a deeper understanding of Christ-centered leadership through the development of professional skills, ministry preparedness, and through relevant, formational curriculum within a Christian camp environment. This occurs through behind-the-scenes work, up-front leadership opportunities, interactions with campers and guests, mentoring relationships, and working alongside an intentional community of Twin Rocks staff with a shared purpose and vision. The dates listed are preferred, but not a strict requirement. We often have people start in January after finishing school or otherwise negotiating the dates of their internship. Please don't let those dates prevent you from applying.
