TRACKS After-School Camp

TRACKS is a FREE after-school experience sponsored by Twin Rocks Friends Camp! The goal of TRACKS is to provide local children with a variety of fun and educational opportunities in a safe, caring, Christian environment.

Fun + Friendship + Learning + Growing = TRACKS

WHO CAN ATTEND?
Elementary age children grades K-5.

WHEN IS TRACKS?
Every Wednesday afternoon from 2:45pm-5:30pm
WHERE IS IT?
Twin Rocks Friends Camp in Rockaway Beach.

WHAT IS A TYPICAL DAY LIKE?

2:45pm – 3:00pm
ARRIVE at the front office of Twin Rocks Friends Camp.

3:00pm – 3:30pm
FREE TIME Games include air hockey, foosball, shuffleboard, pool, basketball, soccer, ping pong, and volleyball.

3:30pm – 4:00pm
ARTS AND CRAFTS Kids exercise their creativity by cutting, pasting, drawing, painting, folding, and assembling organized art activities. There will also be opportunities to try new skills such a baking, woodworking, and learning about the environment.

4:00 – 4:30 pm
SNACK TIME and CHAPEL Sing songs, listen to and act out Bible stories, and learn from special guests.

4:30pm – 5:00pm
HOMEWORK Caring staff will work with students providing help with homework. Students who do not have homework will be encouraged to improve their reading comprehension, math, science, and social studies skills through instructional workbook activities.

5:00pm – 5:30pm
RECREATION Organized activities such as tag games and nature exploration will provide an exciting end to each day.

5:30pm
Check-out in the Shelter.

STAFF
Students will be supervised by caring staff members who are experienced in working with children and who are certified in First Aid and CPR.
