Surfside Camp is the perfect opportunity for high schoolers completing 8th-12th grade this spring. It offers a welcoming space for personal and spiritual growth within a fun, worshipful, and supportive community. The caring staff and counselors are ready to laugh and listen, making sure that campers have an amazing experience. The camp features creative games, inspiring speakers, and plenty of beach time to enjoy with friends. It’s an exciting experience that everyone is looking forward to!

Surfside provides a welcoming and nurturing environment for high school youth to grow personally and spiritually. The caring staff and counselors are dedicated to creating a playful, worshipful, and intentional atmosphere, where campers can laugh, listen, and build lasting friendships. With engaging speakers, creative recreation games, and plenty of beach and relaxation time, Surfside offers a unique camp experience.

Campers have the opportunity to form connections in their cabins and larger co-ed groups, while also enjoying a variety of activities such as hiking, skimboarding, volleyball, ultimate frisbee, arts and crafts, and more. Moreover, they have the chance to grow spiritually through building relationships, solo time experiences, and times of gathered worship.

The camp staff provides encouragement and support in campers’ spiritual journeys, aiming to foster a reflective and bold faith while helping them become more deeply aware of God’s presence in their lives.

This is a list of general items that Twin Rocks recommends campers bring for a week at camp.

Bedding:

  • Sleeping bag and pillow

Clothing:

  • Comfortable layered clothing, including t-shirts, shorts, pants, sweatshirts, warm coat/rain jacket, socks, beach clothes, Underwear, and PJ’s

Shoes:

  • Tennis shoes, beach shoes, and slides/flip-flops

Toiletries:

  • Shampoo/conditioner, Soap, Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Deodorant, Hair Brush, Towel

Other essentials:

  • A plastic bag for wet clothes, a Flashlight, a Camera, a Bible (we can supply one if you don’t have one), a Notebook, a Pen, a Flashlight, Sunscreen, Bug spray

Please remember to mark clothing and items with the camper’s last name, as the camp cannot be responsible for lost items. Lost items are held for 30 days. Also, campers are asked to dress modestly to maintain a Christ-centered environment. Pack clothing that helps maintain a modest appearance.

Twin Rocks utilizes a tiered pricing model for its camps. Please choose the option your family can afford:

If you are concerned about the cost of camp, please don’t let financial constraints prevent your child from attending. Please don’t let a lack of funds keep your child from attending camp. If none of the available options are affordable for your family, please contact the camp at 503-355-2284 to apply for a larger scholarship.
