YOUTH CAMPS

Day Camps at Twin Rocks!
Family Camping at Twin Rocks!

(Overnight Summer Youth Camps Canceled)
(6/4/2020 Update Regarding the Coronavirus Crisis)

We have learned the unfortunate news that 2020 summer overnight camps for kids/youth will not be permitted within the State of Oregon. We are deeply saddened by this news, but greatly appreciate the State’s desire to keep kids and their families safe in the midst of this COVID-19 season.

Day Camps. As an alternative to overnight camps, Twin Rocks is expanding its slate of Day Camps, adding at least two weeks of Day Camps beginning June 15. (The first two weeks will be reserved for children residing in Tillamook County.)

Day Camps will include numerous protocols and procedures to enhance safety in full accordance with guidelines approved by the Oregon Health Authority.

We encourage campers to Register Now for day camps, as each camp session will cap at 100 campers to meet physical distancing requirements (10 cohorts of 10 campers). And of course, if Twin Rocks cancels any camp sessions, registration fees will be refunded in full.

Family Camping. In addition, in July Twin Rocks will likely begin making its cabins available for rental to families. More details will follow as specific family camping guidelines become available.

“Thank you so much for providing my child with this experience! Thank you to all of the staff and volunteers that make this possible – I am recommending this camp to EVERYONE I think might be interested.”

“When we asked our son what his liked about camp, he listed everything from recreation to worship. When we asked him to narrow it down to what his favorite part was, he told us he couldn’t narrow it down to just one thing because he loved every part of camp!”

“My daughter said that she appreciated the thought and planning that had gone into the teaching. She particularly enjoyed the teamwork activities done with her cabin.”

Programs at Twin Rocks Friends Camp are all about Relationship.
Relationship with friends. With Nature. With ourselves. Most importantly, Relationship with Jesus.

Whether it be making new friends or reconnecting with old ones, sharing deep thoughts with your counselor as they listen to your heart, or realizing anew the love of God through the beauty of creation all around you, Twin Rocks is a place for connection on the deepest levels. Everything that happens at Twin Rocks Friends Camp keeps this focus in mind; from recreation activities that foster fun and fellowship to more focused times such as worship in the Meetinghouse, team-building games, and learning from inspiring teachers. Camps at Twin Rocks strive to promote a rich sense of community while also paying attention to the value of each individual as they are drawn into relationship with their creator.
