Couples Conference

Couples Conference is a relaxing and refreshing romantic weekend on the beautiful Oregon Coast. Take time to enhance and renew your marriage away from everyday distractions. Enjoy opportunities to simply be together to laugh, play, talk, and pray. Sit beside a crackling fire, take in the forested scenery of the mountainside from a canoe on the lake, or stroll hand-in-hand along the shoreline of the ocean. Share with each other during insightful teaching sessions on marriage-strengthening topics to help you connect and grow as a couple. Expect a great weekend, filled with fun traditions (like the annual Saturday night candlelit banquet), touches of romance, and opportunity for times of deep conversation together and with other couples. Meet Dan and Beth Banham, our Couples Conference speakers. Dan and Beth were married in 1992, and 32 years later not only are they still in love, they like each other. In 1997 they helped bring two things into the world: their son, Grant, and a brand new church called City’s Edge. 27 years later, both are still going strong.

Dan continues to lead music, preach, and mentor other members of the preaching team. In his spare time he bikes hundreds of miles and plays in a Chicago tribute band called Northwest Transit. Beth is a glue that holds City’s Edge together, and a compelling speaker in her own right.
